Orders & Shipping
Where do you ship from, and where do you ship to?
IRBN ships from Ireland to Ireland, the UK, the EU, the United States and the UAE.
How long will my order take to arrive?
Orders are dispatched within 1–2 working days of purchase. Once dispatched: Ireland 2–3 working days, UK 3–5 working days, EU 3–5 working days, United States 7–10 working days, UAE 5–7 working days. Customs clearance can add time to orders outside the EU. You'll receive a dispatch confirmation email with tracking information.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location and order weight.
Do you ship anywhere else?
If you're outside these regions and would like to place an order, please get in touch and we'll do our best to help.
Will I be charged import duties or taxes?
Orders within the EU include all taxes — nothing further to pay. Orders to the UK, the United States and the UAE are shipped from Ireland and may be subject to import duties, taxes or handling fees on arrival, which are the responsibility of the customer. The United States no longer operates a duty-free threshold for low-value imports, so duties apply to US orders regardless of order value.
Can I track my order?
Yes — you'll receive a dispatch email with tracking information once your order has been shipped.
My order hasn't arrived — what should I do?
If your order hasn't arrived within 7 working days of your dispatch notification, please contact us with your order number and we'll look into it straight away.
Returns & Exchanges
What is your returns policy?
You have 14 days from delivery to change your mind, and a further 14 days to send the item back. Please return items in the condition you received them, with tags where possible. You're welcome to try a piece on as you would in a shop. Full details on our Returns page.
How do I return an item?
Contact us at irbnaked.com/pages/contact with your order number and reason for return. We'll send you return instructions. Please do not send items back without contacting us first.
Do you offer exchanges?
We don't currently offer direct exchanges. If you need a different size, return your original order for a refund and place a new order for the size you need.
Who pays for return shipping?
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty or incorrectly sent.
When will I receive my refund?
Refunds are processed within 14 days of receiving your returned item. You'll receive a confirmation email once the refund has been issued.
Product & Sizing
Is IRBN unisex?
Yes — every IRBN piece is designed and sized as unisex. The sweatshirts and T-shirts are cut oversized and fitted on both men and women, and the caps are one size with an adjustable strap.
How do the sweatshirts fit?
The IRBN sweatshirt is cut oversized with a mock neck. If you prefer a closer fit, size down. If you want the full oversized silhouette, stay true to size.
How do the T-shirts fit?
The IRBN T-shirt has a boxy, oversized fit with a drop shoulder. Size down for a closer fit, stay true for the full oversized silhouette.
What sizes do you offer?
The sweatshirts are available in S, M, L, XL and XXL. The T-shirts are available in XS, S, M, L and XL. All sizing is unisex. The caps are one size with an adjustable strap.
What is the fabric made from?
The sweatshirts are made from 400gsm loopback cotton. The T-shirts are made from 250gsm cotton. The caps are stone washed cotton twill.
What does 400gsm actually mean?
GSM is grams per square metre — the weight of the cloth. Most sweatshirts sit between 280 and 320gsm, and most T-shirts between 140 and 180gsm. At 400gsm and 250gsm respectively, IRBN pieces are noticeably heavier in the hand. Weight is what gives a garment structure and drape rather than cling.
What is loopback cotton?
Loopback is a knit construction where the inner face of the cloth is left as open loops rather than brushed flat. It's more breathable than brushed fleece, softens with wear rather than pilling, and is the traditional construction for a heavyweight sweatshirt.
Where are the products made?
The sweatshirts and T-shirts are made in Barcelos, in northern Portugal. The caps are made in China.
How should I care for my IRBN pieces?
Machine wash sweatshirts and T-shirts at 30°. Do not tumble dry. Iron inside out on a low heat if needed. Hand wash caps in cold water only — reshape while damp and air dry. The cotton will soften with every wash — this is by design.
Will the colour fade over time?
Washing at 30° and avoiding tumble drying will preserve the colour for longer. Some natural softening of colour over time is expected — and for most IRBN pieces, it only improves them.
The Brand
What does IRBN stand for?
I'd Rather Be Naked. The name came from an honest moment in 2020 — the idea that if you're going to wear something, it had better feel like almost nothing.
Where is IRBN based?
IRBN is an Irish brand, conceived in 2020 and launched in 2026.
How does the drop model work?
IRBN releases in numbered drops rather than seasonal collections. Each drop is made in limited numbers, and once it's gone it isn't restocked. There are no permanent lines and no discounts.
Will you be adding more products?
Yes — future collections will be rooted in cities, informed by the places we go and the details worth bringing back. Each collection will be numbered. 001 — Home is the beginning.
